The rose is one of the most stunning flowers issued on U.S. postal stamps and is one of the most frequent flowers appearing on stamps worldwide. This design was not drawn to articulate a specific rose variety but instead was drawn to prominently display a recognizable rose image for the first time on a Love Stamp.
