Lennie, Connecticut, 1980. Industrialization on the Island of Puerto Rico after WWII forced many rural poor to migrate to the mainland U.S.  Many Puerto Ricans moved to Connecticut to work in the tobacco factories but gentrification pushed many into poorer neighborhoods, especially in and around Hartford.
